Lindy Tucker Fimon
Personal Information
Lindy Tucker Fimon is a native of Kenbridge, VA. She has served as the Lunenburg Extension Agent since 2012. Growing up on the family cow-calf operation laid the groundwork for her interest and future in agriculture. Lindy married Minnesota native, Matt Fimon, in 2018 near the family farm. The two help out on the family farm.
Education
Lindy graduated with honors from Central High School in 2007.
She followed in the family footsteps to attend Virginia Tech and graduated in May of 2011 with a B.S. in Crop & Soil Environmental Science with a focus in International Agriculture and minors in Agriculture & Applied Economics and Leadership & Social Change.
Additionally, she completed her M.S. in Plant Science & Pest Management through Virginia Tech in 2015.
